They can try you with some creams at first.

I have suffered with it occasionally but it's gone of its own accord after a few days.

Circumcision may be final option.

My brother and cousin had it, so they were circumcised!

Kept getting infections in the area and pills didn't work.

I hope you get it sorted. One of my friends used to suffer pain with his during sex. I was afraid to touch it sometimes.

Had the exact same problem, was afraid to even try to engage in any sex for fear of suffering the pain afterwards.

Bad times

What's the sex of the GP got to do with it?

I don't get this. I doubt the female GP regarded your cock differently to how a male GP would. You saw her for a medical problem and her training to treat that is the same as a male GP would have had.

It is, I'm sure, possible for doctors to be professional when seeing naked bodies of the opposite sex. In fact, they've probably seen so many that most are in no way remarkable or memorable.

Very painful, my hubby's wouldn't go all the way back and was told to go to A+E if it got stuck as it could have cut off circulation but been operated on since, minor operation, but due to it being covered for such a long time it's ultra sensitive and he said it was like touching a raw nerve at first but gets better, and new sensations xxx

It is quite embarrassing for some of us men to get our cocks out in front of any doctor regardless of their gender. But given the option I would prefer a male doctor. I can't explain why , I know they're professionals and have seen it all before and there is certainly nothing special about mine. But that's just the way it is. Now don't get me started on prostrate examinations.

Are those the ones after you've passed out from embarrassment and are flat on the floor?

You lot need to get over this embarrassment nonsense and go and get concerns checked out in good time. It can save worry, pain and suffering and may save your life.

A doctor, or nurse, sees you as a patient with healthcare needs. They're too busy doing their job to be thinking about what your cock looks like. Unless it's green or something.

OP, I hope you get sorted soon.

In regard to getting your bits out in front of a doctor, they really don't care. When I had my coil fitted, I ended up in hospital and there had to have been at least 6 different doctors who got an eyeful of my bits. Most of them look at vaginas for a living, but still. Although their was a hot young male doctor, who had to do an internal scan.. Mortified when he said "do you want to put it in or should I?". But anyway, the point is to them its no different than looking at an arm or a leg. It's not a sexual organ to them.

Given that most gynaecologists are male, pregnant women need to get past the issue of having a male doctor peering up and prodding around inside them pretty quickly!

It's like on here, the owner of a cock tends to be far more bothered what that cock looks like than most of the rest of the membership are!

^ this. They're more concerned with listening to what the patient is saying, asking any relevant questions, making a diagnosis and deciding on the best treatment. And on trying to keep to the appointment schedule.

They're more concerned with getting it right and not missing anything than thinking about what parts of the patient look like.

Really, get any niggles or problems checked out.

There are many things which can be done depending on severity.

Steroid cream and stretching to loosen foreskin

Frenuloplasty (snipping the banjo string to loosen foreskin while keeping rest of foreskin)

Partial (loose) circumcision where part of foreskin is left

Total (tight) circumcision where the foreskin is skinned right back with no loose skin (Muslim cocks usually have tight circumcision if you want an idea of what it looks like)

Some guys I've met are happy for it. Some regretted it. A few have lost the ability to cum since having it done. There are benefits plus risks too. Not to mention that your not allowed to wank for a month due to stiches and every repeated erection you get during that period will be painful and you won't be able to sort it out

Not allowed to wank for a month? It's a wonder any man has survived it!

I had this problem when going through the early stages of puberty, had constant kidney infections until I went for an operation, was a quick day procedure and some dissolvable stitches but definitely painful for a few weeks, especially erections lol few years down the line and all been good so far, although its definitely effected my ability to cum just doesn't happen sometimes but thats the way it goes, allot better than living in pain and my foreskin looks completely normal! The scar is minimal but after a d*unkin night of rough shenanigans it did tear which wasn't pleasant but it healed in no time

I know what your meaning wanting a Doctor of the same sex, I'm the same when I have to go for smears or if I ever needed to be examined I would want a female Doctor.

I know someone who has this in his 60's but there's no need at all - it's fully treatable, you've just got to find the route that works.
