I have just signed up with the East Anglia Air Ambulance. Got chatting to one of the ground crew at my local Aldi recently, and he was trying to raise funds as they get no govt help. Also donate to Cancer Research.

I regularly donate to a local cancer hospice, and have organised charity gigs, the money goes directly to them and not to pay some execs wage.

The donations won't help cure cancer but it helps those who are in the hospice for possibly their last few weeks/months.

Herts

Not regularly but as often as I can afford to. I'll admit it's for personal reasons but I give as much as I can to Great Ormand St and the local NICU charity group after everything that was done for my Son.

I volunteer with one (well, did more regularly last year) and donate to 3 with DD. I always feel guilty if I don't donate to someone's JustGiving thing if they send an email round the office.

World Vision, 40 quid every month for over ten years. Every other pay rise I get I whack an extra couple of quid on so I don't notice it.

Pays for schools, sanitation, water, farming etc to make communities self-sufficient.

Can't help everyone, but at least I can help some people.

That's a joke, right? You don't donate to charity because one charity event hasn't solved child poverty??

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

A couple of children's charities, RSPCA nationally, local RSPCA cattery via sponsorship and whatever the Spastics Society is called now (I can never remember the new name) on DD...I always chuck spare change in charity buckets and can be relied on to buy a raffle ticket for anything doing the rounds at work or in the supermarket
