THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMAN

Anybody else a fan? Considering it first appeared on our screens in the late '90s, I'm surprised it didn't catch my attention a lot sooner. Saw one episode by accident on GOLD last year, then I was hooked, ended up buying the full box set that very week.

Favourite characters include Papa Lazarou, Herr Lipp, Pam Doove, Mr Chinnery, and of course, Edward and Tubbs.

How about you?

There's a film of it as well, if you want to watch it? I found that funnier than the series.

Papa Lazaruo is my favourite character. The butcher character is based on typical Chorley people.

When you go for a beer with me, you mean?

Sorry, still trying to get used to this whole 'playing hard-to-get' lark.

It's always the most subtle approaches that get 'em.

Remember the scene where Ross was giving it to Pauline very hard doggy style? The love/hate relationship was brilliant.

Mrs Levenson and her (very liberated)cleaner Iris, that turned out to be her mum?

And the sex toys on display in the airing cupboard in the b&b just prior to one of their parties.
