I just love getting cold callers, usually I answer the phone, "Thai palace who you like to order" "Big boys are us" tbh the list is endless, simulating the book keeper in little Britain is my favourite "Margaret....Margaret....yes dear there's someone on the phone who wants to know if we've had PPI" etc

What funny things do you guys do to brighten up the day of a cold caller lol

most of these cold callers I believe wear headsets as they are on the phone for long periods of time ............ I keep a referees whistle by the phone and let them chat for a while before blowing for half time - doesn't half blow the wax out of their ears

On average I get 17 cold calls a day

They are either withheld, international or unknown

It is beyond a joke

I say no thanks and put the phone down, why would i be rude or try and damage someone's hearing when they're trying to earn a living?

We answer, let them start talking and then leave the phone on the side until they hangup.
