Ipad Help

Right, I have restored my Ipad back to factory settings and given it to my mum.

She has just phoned and said when she turned it on, it has the ITunes on the front with the lead, but she says it wont allow her to do anything or get past it.

I'm over 2.5 hours away so can't help in person and I can't remember myself how to do it.

Suggestions? I need to phone her back.....

Tell her to plug it into a PC

Or hold the power button and home down until it disappears.

It either means it needs to be plugged in to charge, or it needs to be plugged in to a PC/Mac because it's got a more serious issue.

First thing to do would be to leave it charging for half an hour, then reset it completely by holding down the home and lock buttons together until the Apple logo appears. That may sort it out.

I vaguely remember having to sync mine to a pc when i got it.

Thanks for trying to help! But even I give up now, I am never sending anything electronic to parents who are not computer savvy! And trying to explain things on the phone is just not working
