Ok, everyone has a theory as to whether there's life on other planets, whether there are other hospitable planets and whether we could co-exist with alternative life species.

My theory is that there may be 'species', just not sure what their genetic make-up would be. I often wonder if what people call 'ghosts' are some form of alien....trying to clone itself into human form?

What's your theory?

To be fair thew ghost theory is a good one. A lot of peoples _iews may be biased with religion but each to there own.

I believe there must be forms of life in space, whether similar to our gentic make up or totally different. The fact we have come so far in technology in the last 50 years or even 5-6 years should give us hope that we can confirm extra terrestrial life forms, if not contact within the next 80-100 years. The literrally infinite number of planets there are in space let alone our own universe should be testerment to other life, whether on religion scientific or even mathematical beliefs we base our theories on, I believe it would be ignorant to rule out other life forms in space just as it is fool hardy to be 100 percent sure there is.

Some people say an explanation for ghosts maybe other regular people in parallel universes just slightly intersecting our own universe.

The parallel universe theory is also used to explain how aliens can come and go without trace.

Personally I think it's bollocks.

My _iew of ghosts and similar "earthen" things, is this:

To a spider, a human is nothing more than a shadow. Something that makes the ground thump. Indistinguishable from a car, a plane crash, a dog or an earthquake. The spider has no concept of a human except as something that interferes with it's reality.

Perhaps ghosts, etc, etc, are life forms higher than us. Not aliens, but something else. Not remnants of humans, but something else.

Humans assume we are the top of the chain, the most evolved lifeform on the planet, but why? A spider probably considers itself the most evolved lifeform. Perhaps we just can't conceive of what's higher, except when they interfere with our reality.

It's a bit Lovecraftian, but hey.

I've said it on here before - I believe "ghosts" to be resonant human echoes. If there are aliens here, they're well hidden - but my candidates for hidden aliens would be (amongst others) Bill Gates, Elton John, Nikolai Tesla, DaVinci and Julian Clary (just because they may be aliens doesn't necessarily make them more intelligent - they may have been banished here as a punishment!)

I think ..given the expanse of our known universe with the billions of suns and trillions of planets and then multiplying that by 11 if the multiverse concept of M theory is anywhere near correct ,then it would be arrogant to suggest we are the only sentient beings and that we are in anyway special ...our "genious" scientists etc, may well be like amoeba to other life forms.

It seems logical they or it would pass us by until we get interesting and have something relevant to say .

Having said that our resilliance and genetic Will to survive could be threatening or interesting to them in the future.

The odds are that on all the other billions of planets there will be some sort of life. It is unlikely to be anything resembling us though and could be a gaseous or liquid form of life so we may not even recognise it as a life form if we bumped into it.
