Why is this still a thing?

I know they are doing no harm and everyone needs a hobby, but nowadays all the trains and busses more or less look the same.

Don't leave out the plane spotters they might get upset and block you for discrimination

Sadly it applies to aircraft as well, too many look the same these days. Was a keen aircraft spotter in the 60s & 70s.

I've been busy spotting today....big red party bus right outside my house leaving hardly any room for regular buses or more importantly emergency services to get past.....idiots!!!

Good job I'm a sensible citizen and went and moved my car (I was parked there first before anyone says anything lol)

Nether regions of the back of beyond

You should try being a bus driver when the spotters are out in force, if I had a £1 for every idiot that jumped in front of me with a camera I'd be rich lol

Ain't doing no harm, ain't they after the names/numbers so they can cross them off there lists rather then makes n models? My daughter watched the Stobart series and everyone we pass one she's write there names down on her iPad lol

You think they look the same. I think they look the same. But train spotters don't think they look the same.

There's a bus spotter in my local area. I thought he was possibly with a newspaper but I have seen him several times taking pictures.

From what I remember, he doesn't wear a wooly hat.

Shame my Granny wasn't good at train spotting.

There wasn't much left of her to bury/cremate. Icon, because, well.

. There are different models and various fleet numbers to be ticked off. I am not a spotter but everyone is entitled to do as they please in their spare time . Some people spend all day on motorway bridges photographing lorries .

. The only problem with driving buses is that you will have some difficult passengers to deal with .
