would it put you off meeting someone if they had a scar on their arse due to an operation?

I had to have an emergency operation last Friday due to me having an abscess there and it will leave a scar..

So its sort of knocked my confidence.

Are you kidding? One solitary scar on a butt cheek is gonna be a factor in my decision-making? It's the person that makes a meet, not some mark on a body part.

I have quite a few scars over my torso from procedures. No one really cares, but I'm still very self conscious about them and don't like explaining what they're from. I think it's more a problem for me and not my partners.

My husband has a scar there due to the removal of a gland, he is sometimes self conscious however can quite honestly say no one else seems to notice it, and it certainly hasn't put anyone off that I'm aware of. Be confident and I promise no one will blink an eyelid

I've had three sections so have quite a thick scar on my upper groin alone with the not so firm skin that comes with sections, I don't have any problems, I've never had a guy run off screaming when I take my knickers off and they see it

Scars are not a problem and at the end of the day everyone has marks/scars/blemishes/pigmentations on their body. I wouldn't let it worry you and chances are no one will take any notice of your scar - there is so much more to you than that

OMG absolutely not!

A scar is not a blemish, it is a visual record of a part of your life-story.

One day I may tell you about mine.

If anyone doesn't offer to kiss it better, smack 'em round the head.

I've had absesses, they're worse than scars (and smelly), got a horseshoe shaped scar on my chin and nobody's bothered about it and that's right on my face where it is noticeable, got a tiny purple dot on my stomach as a scar from another one.

I've also met people with bigger scars than mine, they don't bother me, they're just where their skin came open and then healed itself.

Wish people would accept their body isn't perfect, especially if it's been through things. Don't know where we got this unrealistic expectation of perfection from but it's wrong and nothing to do with the real world where people have real lives and bodies that function as human bodies do.

I was in a road traffic accident when i was 9 years old and have skingrafts to my right hand, between my fingers, my palm and my back from waist height ti just above my sacrum but theyve been there so long that they slip my mind

maybe i should disclose them.. youve opened up a lil can of worms in my head now lol
