There was an article in the Saturday's Times about prostitution, spurred on by the latest allegation about a certain footballer paying for sex.

In the article it talked about young solvent gents around mid 20's actually preferred to pay for sex for no string attached fun, instead of having to go to bars and clubs to take their chances, and to deal with the aftermarth of drug/alcohol fuelled one-night stands and encounters.

Some admitted they would continue to pay for sex even if they are in a serious relationship. However, they would keep it from their partners as they are unlikely to approve.

One gent said the gorgeous ladies he has sex with are unlikely to give him a look in unless he pays for the sex. And I thought he must be ugly or something like that.

While reading the article, I can't help but have an unpleasant taste in my mouth, as the gents come across as having very little respect for women in general, and none of them come across as likeable.

That's just my take on the article.

My question for the ladies is that, how do you feel about paying for sex?

Personally, I have thought about it in the past when I was married about 10y ago. I shied away from it as it felt wrong at the time.

However, I have since realised single unattached gents are two a penny, so no need to pay for fun at all!

I do not think it is wrong anymore. If I have the money to spare, why not?

However, it may not be as good value for money than going out to have a few good meals!

well those "in the know" say that Rooney is just the 1st of the bad boys...

he was not one of the people with the "super injunction" hanging over him and that the News of the World have been holding onto this for a while....

One of the reasons for hiring an escort cited by one of the gents is that, he likes to wine and dine in restaurants, however, he does not like eating on his own.

One of the reasons why I do not need an escort is that I actually love dining out on my own, as I love to people watch and to watch what food they have ordered etc...

I wouldn't for a few reasons. The main one is if your going to be a professional then you don't walk out on a job. Now if you don't like the person in question i would rather retain my right to say thank you and goodnight.
