I mean, having invented the wheel, surely no-one would have dragged it to the top of a hill and jumped on, if they'd've been using their common sense.

Wouldn't we all be living in caves, without fire, if we only EVER used it?

I like common sense and I'm currently bidding on a jar of it on ebay.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Commonsense also involves judging when to take a risk.

Follow your logic and no child would bother to walk when crawling works well and you don't fall over so much (see d*unk people).

It may be called commonsense but my work makes me think it's getting to be a rare commodity: people pay me to bring commonsense to their business.

My daughter told me Louis the (insert random roman numerals here) of France said common sense was only for commoners!

Common sense and intelligence don't always go hand in hand.

Some of the cleverest people I have met are also dumb as fuck when it comes to common sense.

True, though mine appears to have a delayed reaction, it only works in hindsight
