Unfortunately, surprise is not the common reaction to politicians displaying questionable morality. Whether they have broken parliamentary rules is up for debate but as most peoples reactions reflect, that is more down to the rules themselves being questionable.

Riffkind claims outside work gives him knowledge of the community. Not at 5 - 8k a day, it doesn't. Unless it's as a drug baron.
