Stockings tend to come off. I until reading this thread didn't realise anyone actually choose not to shave their legs etc these days .. I guess it comes down to seeing shaved as the norm. One of the biggest myths about female health is that her bits must be shaved and washed inside else she is "dirty".

The female genitals keep themselves quite well balanced and healthy without douches, perfumes or shaving the hairs around them. Basic personal hygiene such as a daily bath or shower are far better than any of them at keeping things healthy down there.

So basically... women that don't shave aren't putting the effort in to please any potential sexual partner.

But if you think that women who are overweight aren't putting the effort in to please any potential sexual partner than you're wrong.

Even if - of course - neither is actually about effort but rather about personal preferences. I don't put any less effort in than you before a meet just because I don't shave. I actually spend time making sure that I have soaped up each and every part of my body to make sure that the hair is soft and clean. That takes at least as much effort as shaving.

I would argue that most do it for aesthetics rather than hygiene, why else would men have hairy pits? Are hairy arms more unhygienic than shaved ones?

Women have been told that to be hairy is wrong, not ladylike and is ugly and dirty and hair removal must be a multi-billion pound industry. It pays for women to be told we are not allowed to be hairy for fear of ridicule.
