water

I have always had a big fear of water

I cant swim, i only have to look at a swimming pool and...i cant even explain the feeling of panic that comes over me

The most i can do is a jacuzzi but even then im very awear of my surroundings while im in there, if people start splashing about i have to leave, and i freak if anyone even tries to put my head under, big time, to the point people have fell out with me because of my reaction, while they was 'only haivng a laugh'

Clowns started off as friendly funny things that kids got to love and trust but because of this lots of phedophiles etc have in the past dressed as clowns to lure children away, i think thats why a lot of people fear them now because people have turned a much loved character into something to fear

Think thats a bit deep myself.

Its the silly scary movies that have used clowns that have given them the edge rather than paedo;s me thinks

We had a dwarf come work at our place not so long back

was talking to him and he said they have the same size head and torso as a standard person, its just there arms and legs that are small, never noticed that before but when you look they have lol then he told me that they once measured up his body to work out how tall he would be had he not been born a dwarf and told him he would be 6ft 3.....oh the hours just fly by in that ware house lmao

cant say they have ever bothered me but sometimes its just someone whos different that makes us feel uneasy i think

I always think clowns are a bit freaky because they do hide their real expressions. Maybe that's part of what people don't like about them?

"

Oh I agree. Clowns have always freaked me out and then I read "It" and was terrified for life! Book was fab but the film was a bit crap though.

I worked in a pet shop years ago and a really common phobia was people being scared of birds wings flapping...and of course, the spider and snake phobias.

My own phobia is a slightly weird one - and a tricky one for a woman if I am honest - I have a proper fear of hairdressers! Very odd and not cos of any bad experience that I can remember. Just the smell of the place can make me sick

OMG I've just imagined a clown cutting my hair, and all the other people sitting in the hair dressers were clowns with sharp teeth laughing at me.

I don't like this thread anymore. If I have nightmares tonight I wont be allowed to play with you lot anymore!

.

P.S. IT the movie is quite duff but I actually liked it!

'They all float down here, THEY AAAALLL FLOAT! and YOU will too!! HAHAHAHA.'
