It really annoys me when people receive and read a message and don't reply. I always reply even if am not interested. It's rude not to. What's your views on this?

I couldn't agree more. I was brought up with manners and after all they cost nothing! ??

OP a new woman to the site receives 800 messages in a few hours. Are you expecting her to reply to all the messages? I think it's rude if people dont read profiles and ignore preferences. I just ignore messages from people like that. If they think i'm rude then I won't lose any sleep.

I've recently started to say no thanks to people after reading things in the forum.

No one has given us grief for it yet,but then again I just say you're not for us guys..i don't make a list of the things I don't like..although we've had a few shitty messages sent our way because of beards and piercings..lol.

OP people dont reply to messages for lots of different reasons - but as they are not replying to you you'll never know why so theres no point getting annoyed about it.

You cant make other people use the site in the way that you want them to, so the best thing to do is to accept thats it happens and to focus on the people that do reply.
