I'm not a huge fan of the 'who's near' - seems a bit stalkerish and the chances of two people simultaneously hitting it and finding the other attractive/interesting, available at that exact moment, and either able and willing to accomodate? I'd guess pretty slim!! A

Currently nearby (be it at home, at work, out shopping, etc).

When it was first introduced I still had my old solo profile and after switching it on a few times when on work trips I soon got bored of random, late night "I see you're near me - fancy some fun?" messages. I guess after no doubt trying that route with all the locals the chance to try it with someone showing as coming from miles away was an obvious next move. I still think its stalkerish. A bit like when forum threads pop up saying 'wouldn't it be great if there was a way to identify swingers out in public'. A

A" You don't have to turn it on though - so if you see it as stalkerish then you don't have to use it.

If you do then I can't see how you'd think it stalkerish. surely that's more what stealth mode encourages
