Meditation is all about mindfulness and inner peace. If I went on holiday with you I would have problems keeping my mind pure x

im my experience Turkey was just non stop harrassment trying to drag you into bars and restaurants that you didnt want to be in ..hastling you to go on boat trips you didnt want to go on etc

I hated Turkey too! The heat irritated my skin, I itched it raw - I kid you not, my back looked like I'd been attacked by Freddy Krueger!

Somewhere on the M62 between 24 and 14

Reykjavik is a great place for a little jaunt. Cool place with amazing scenery and great nightlife. Cheaper if you fly midweek.

Personally I could never see myself setting foot near Benidorm for a holiday, only for a jolly up.

Little thing called ISIS and that Turkey is a bit close to the Syrian border (the part of Turkey to the east of the Bosphorus is).

We didn't get to see them. Reykjavik was experiencing its worst weather for twenty years. We did see a spectacular snow storm though.

Without the shadow of a doubt I would recommend New York City!

There are loads of places to visit in the state from Mountains to glorious beaches.

That's if you decide to get out of Manhattan of course, which has a knack of capturing your heart and enticing you to stay.

I agree solo holidays are great fun. You need to be a little extrovert when travelling but that's what I love about it. Come and go as I please x

That's a great drive. Highway 1 all the way did some work in Seattle for Boeing

Queensland - head for the Whitsunday Islands. Hamilton Island is one of the best to stay on. And no cars allowed - you get around via golf cart. Bit pricey though.

why not try a trip to Tibet to ponder and strive for inner personal spiritual development and the attainment of a deep insight into the true nature of life, alternatively a trip to the Skegness adults only butlins weekend and see what pussy is on offer?

Italy is always a glorious holiday.

I also went to one of the Greek Islands alone last year and as well as it being beautiful, historic and with great food I was welcomed by the locals and pretty much adopted for my stay.

The Northern Lights were ok, but I have honestly seen better here at home - but up there they are more predictable (barring snow)

I'd definitely do Iceland alone again - I was there for a work conference but extended my stay and had 5 extra days. Was fantastic! Locals are really welcoming and helpful.

Krakow is beautiful and one of my all time favourite places (family history there) - if you get time then a 2 hour coach trip gets you to the Tatry mountains and Zakopane which is amazing.

I loved Japan too - really took me out of my comfort zone but everyone was so lovely and everything is so well organised and easy. Had a 7 day train pass and visited Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Himeji- before driving to Fuji,and then finishing in Tokyo

Somewhere with mountains and lots of snow. The only time I feel truly free is when I'm flying down a mountain on my snowboard...... I think it actually beats sex that's how much I love it!!

New Zealand, Lyme Regis and now Northern Ireland.

I would like to go to Hawaii at some point.

I absolutely hated NYC and Manhattan in particular when I took myself there on my own. I saw lots of good shows but I just didn't enjoy anything else there.

We're holiday twins, I love all those places too and have wanted to visit Iceland for years?!

City wise I thought Washington was a beautiful & interesting place especially during the fall.

Paradise wise ~ Oz aside I thought Maui was amazing. Fantastic beaches, stunning scenery & lovely friendly people.

illa de arousa it is in the north of Spain proper Spanish excellent food. and the best beaches in Spain.you can get a return fly for £40 but only fly from started airport.

check it out on Google.
