Are they really as bad as Top Gear make out? I always associate driving like that with Honda.

I've had two, 1st was a 206 Diesel, great car, nippy, easy to run and very little bother with it. 2nd was a 207 sportium petrol, drank fuel and had what was actually a really minor accident in it and it cost over £3000 to fix, wasn't enamored with it at all.

Hondas are awesome !!

Although I'd of kept my 207 S16 if it didn't break, loved that car all you had to do was put your foot down and point it, handling was unreal

Somewhere in North Norfolk

My Honda was great. I owned it for 12 years and it never missed a beat. Bloody fabulous car!

I still miss it.

Love for the Hondas !!

I'd be looking at getting the 2015 civic type R when it comes out, but put too much work into my current civic to get rid just yet

I'm still driving my 25yr old 405. Much comfier than some more modern cars. Also it's only cost me £300 in 2yrs, that includes buying it!

I can't fault any Peugeot until the 306. Not a fan of the more recent ones

Noticeably the "good" comments about pugs are from drivers of older models. Exactly whet TG was saying. The newer pugs ...07/.08 ending are the poor ones.

I myself had a 306 diesel for a while. Zillion to the gallon (ok bit of an exaggeration) but it would pull a truck guts wise. It was a seriously reliable car too!

My brother had a Renault Megane, headlight bulb went and nightmare to change it, said it was the worst car he ever had, lol.

His first car was an old Renault 5 GT turbo though and he loved that car.

ive had 3 pugs 309 petrol, 405 diesel , 406 diesel

ive had fords and i hate them ive had vauxhals and i hate them as well

if you matched both fords and vaxhauls against the pug the pug would win in my eyes

I've a 306, not a bad car at all except that the CD player gets very cold/damp and often takes ages to get warm to play a CD

I thought top gear were a bit harsh but then they slated the Passat which I had for a month as a replacement car and I liked

I drove 3 different peugeot models as company cars, I found them very reliable and fairly quick, even for a diesel. My absolute favourite is a Honda, I'd take one any day, Alfa are fun to drive, build quality is terrible and far too expensive to maintain. The company had 8 in the fleet and every single one had major faults.

I had a 205 gti 24 yrs ago,,,,,,,it was fantastic, handled like a go kart, never let me down, I'd have another right now if I could find a minter,,,,,,,,I think after 95 it went down hill for Peugeot,,,,,,,,they have been very poor since,

Such a boring rep mobile though.

Why do Honda drivers hog the middle lane?

I had a Peugeot 207 as a make do car for about 18 months and never had any problems with it.
