Friends list clear out

Nowadays it's easy to make new 'friends' or connections and you can end up sort of collecting people, especially on sites like Facebook ...and this!

So do you ever have a clear out of your friends list, or do you get a bit horder-ish and feel you should keep 'Bob' just incase that old friendship should reignite (Or he wins the lotto)?

Has a deleted friend ever got in touch after the fact?

Do you make excuses or just ignore?

I often clear out friends on here, no chat = no friends.

But then I don't hoard friends anyway on here.

If they get in touch afterwards, I talk to them and tell them why, but very rarely would add them again.

Not like I have interesting friends pics to perv anyway lol

Yes, every now and then I clear out, once I delete they stay deleted... No point in hanging on to something that may never happen again.

I should clear out but sometimes they go UNLOS to save me the bother. I'm not at all interested in collecting 'friends' and don't display mine like badges of honour.

On the facebook side of things,I've been removed a few times by women that have gotten into relationships, only to be re-added once it's gone down hill!

Had good and bad outcomes with that one

It depends,if its someone that I've not met then I'll clear out regularly, if I've met them then I'll likely keep them on unless something happens

When clearing friends lists is it people that haven't messaged you? Or people you haven't mesaaged in a while? Friendship works both ways, why not send everyone on you're list a message and if they have read and not responded after a while have a clear out then
