Middlesbrough

Probably a job for a specialist restorer depending on the type of paint. There are one or two guides online if you want to chance it x

Halesowen

Depends on the paint. Emulsion will wash off, or flake off when dry. Gloss type paints may come off with white spirit or turps, but this may discolour the leather - try a test spot first somewhere hidden from view.

Cellulose thinners will get just about anything off, but is the harshest, though I used it to get acrylic paint off a green leather sofa with no discolouration.

You can always use some leather dye (the type for shoes) to restore the colour if necessary and then shine with a good leather polish.

Or you can pay someone to do it

"It dried paint that rubbed off on it from the wall. "

Again, depends what paint was on the wall - I'd try a test spot with warm soapy water first as it may be emulsion.

If it's a silk paint, it probably has PVA in it, which will probably need cellulose thinners to dissolve - but test spot first!

If it's silk emulation it peels off I've used the soft scourer on the washing up sponges with normal washing up liquid (just a drop to make it bubble slightly, then very lightly rubbed then used my fingers to peel the rest off)
