Favourite accent is a cutglass accent. Worst accent is any that comes accompanied by a high pitched squeaky voice.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I used to think there were some accents I really disliked.

But then I met exceptions...people I liked WITH those accents.

So now I'm confused.

Certain accents don't cut the mustard for phone sex for me, Geordie for instance, or Brummie.

Think phone sex is different anyway - I am not a fan of it I like the real thing... But I think an accent becomes probably more important in an interaction where you loose the visual effect ie

phone?

Up North :-)

Guttural or hash accents have little appeal. Ones with a lilt or a semi musical note are more appealing.

Not a huge fan of the scouse accent. Love the geordie twang, and a sultry irish accent is pretty sexy too, and welshish, and Bristolish.. that sorta says 'come and fuck me' even if all she wants is an ice cream with a flake in it!

I have geordie accent and I also like to hear it softly spoken by a woman.

Other favourites are Southern Irish, Jamaican (although a lot of people say jamaican and geordie are very similiar, it's the tune we both make) and finally Russian.

I would suggest it's not so much accents as cadence and diction that catch our ear. If some-one is unintelligent and inarticulate they can make the most lilting accent sound unpleasant.

That said I used to work with a girl from the Czech Republic. She could have just read to me from the phone book and I would have shot my load

"The Essex girl sound is so annoying. A wine coupled to a low mental capacity does nothing to attract."

I like the essex accent - very down to earth and natural. If it's not to your taste then fine but the Essex girl thing is a myth, not just a stereotype.

I like strong regional accents - there aren't many that grate on me at all.

I would be a hypocrite if I said otherwise - my natural accent is a Welsh-borders farmer/yokel-type sound which has softened a fair bit after spending over half my life in London.

Some say I still have a bit of a Welsh or West Country twang!

I have a Teesside accent, which does have a geordie twang, but it's softer than further up. Haven't had any complaints as yet, but it's bound to put off someone or other, everyone has different likes/dislikes.

Personally I'd be put off by that stupid fake half Jamaican cod spoken by white kids on estate at the mo that's been referred to earlier, where they pronounce "thank you" as "Fank yooo"

I am Irish but not a fan of Irish accent on a female.

I prefer a Northern accent. Yorkshire/Lancs or Geordie or of course a sexy posh accent. Or dirty london/essex

Turn off for me is Northern Irish and scottish.
