What pranks have you played on people?

As a teen I'd often order a takeout and have it delivered to a neighbours house, and watch them argue with the delivery guy about it!

A guy at one of my last jobs, we didn't get on, he really hated me, and tried having me fired.

One day I picked his padlock on his locker, just to see if I could, and did. So went out and bought the exact same padlock, next day picked his, exchanged it for mine, grabbed a newspaper and patiently waited on the other side of the locker room.

He swans in, rattles his lock about, scratches hos head like a baboon "wtf is going on?" I casually walk out to find somewhere to piss myself laughing.

He had to get the ground workers to cut the lock off with an angle grinder

A few years ago a neighbour really pissed me off so I ordered a load of Adult Mail Order Catalogues to be delivered to his house and in his name. I can't be sure but I think his wife got rather upset as I did start to hear shouting from time to time.

At uni my housemates and I started a series of pranks on each other that saw a spiralling set of pranks that involved but werent limited to;

removing all the furniture of one lad and setting up his furniture, including posters in the garage.

Covering another lads room in post it notes

Someone moved my entire room around in an abstract fashion including hanging my shoes from the light fitting and balancing my bed on its edge

My personal favourite I removed a lads room door then replaced it in the frame so when the door knob was touched it fell backwards into the room

I seen some on YouTube where a bloke goes up to someone in the street, points his phone at them for a few seconds and then when they ask what the fuck he's doing he reveals he's taking a selfie.

Quite funny. Easy to recreate

A few years ago I was the manager of a popular chain restaurant, I once too the kitchen managers shoes filled them with squirty cream and placed them in the freezer, it took him 45 mins to find them. His reply was to take my shoes and glue them to the wall of the staff room using no more nails

Yes, pranks with a sense of humour and no consequences can be funny. On the other hand, some can amount to unpleasant bullying. Sorry to be the source of boring commonsense.

No I totally agree! Pranks are good when they are received as funny and you are open to having pranks played on yourself!

done all those last poor sod was still waiting for a long wait and that was after 4hrs had passed the thing was he was still demanding the long weight we had sent him for from the wood yard but none of us wanted to go get him from the shop

a long weight can also be for the old sash windows its what they call them lol

oh and did we get some grief on that one when we went back to wood yard

did you ever try the rubber hammer one ?

i found out someone i worked with didnt like bodies of the dead type

that one was a good prank to do

and same fella i had hanging like a monkey on h frame scaffolding holding the paint roller in one hand the other holding onto bars the planks on the floor it was safe but his fault for removing the safety struts id added to it

Used to work with a fella who was bone idle and often had a kip in the warehouse, so waited till he was snoring then spread grease on the soles of his boots and set off the fire alarm.

My favourite is to tie a Mentos mint with a bit of cotton, undo the lid on a bottle and hang the mint inside so its hidden by the cap and replace the lid. When the intended prank victim opens the bottle the mint drops into the and it reacts violently and gushes out everywhere. Saw it done on Rude tube and copied it to extract revenge on a colleague who kept nicking my drink out the canteen fridge.

Exactly this when I used to work at the chippy....managed to string three mentos together on a needle and cotton (you need pliers to get the needle through) and when she opened the bottle....wooooosh!
