When I first moved to Manchester and was asked if I wanted a barm (but it was pronounced 'balm') I was very puzzled. I asked why they were offering me lotion and they giggled at me.

On a completely unrelated note, I love Everybody Loves Raymond and I love Ice Age.

I have watched Ice Age multiple times and have been rewatching Everybody Loves Raymond in the mornings when our Son wakes me up for his feed, and only in the last month did I clock on that Ray does the voice of the Mani (the mammoth)...

I'm ashamed of myself.
