found profile on here,guy making out to be female.Proved beyond doubt it was hookey,warned everyone on here,and reported it to admin.Result,I got 48hr ban from forums.Next time bollocks,will ignore it

The instructions for dealing with this scenario is to report to Admin. You made the choice to break the rules by also naming and shaming. The repercussions of that were down to you.

You got the ban for naming and shaming, not for reporting to admin. Naming and shaming is against the rules for obvious reasons. You would have got your ban for that regardless of whether you reported it! Not sure your beef should be with admin.

Wrong thing putting it on the forums, it does explain this on the rules, I've had a ban too for outing a fake, no point moaning about it! The rules are there to stop people speculating and so admin can deal with it...
