Help required with Orange broadband wireless

Would anyone be able to give me some advice on setting up a wireless connection to a laptop using Orange livebox. Ive got a wired connection to one computer from the livebox, and i now want to use a laptop wirelessly. The laptop picks up my livebox when it tries to connect, but i cant get it to connect with it. It asks for a security key - is this the one on the bottom of the livebox?.

I would be very greatful if anyone has any advice on this. Cheers

Yeah, on mine its the security code underneath that needs to be used. Just 1 point they are zeros not the letter O.

there are two numbers on the bottom of mine, the one you need is the one called 'wep key'. I think also i needed to press button 2 to put the livebox into pairing mode to enable it to talk to your laptop for the first time. Afterwards they will be good mates and comunicate happily. Good luck. Can post more details if needed when i get home and dig the book out.

Thanks for your help. With your advice ive managed to get it working. One last question; will i need to press the button on the livebox to pair the wireless every time i switch on the laptop, or just the first time i set it up?
