why ask to meet then block

Twice this has happened. People contact you, chat, arrange to meet up then they block you. If you don't want to meet the person just say so.

Could have got cold feet and rather than being honest they took the easy way out.

A lot of people like the idea of meets but when it comes down to it they can't walk the walk we find.

I can understand that about nerves. That's why socials are better beforehand at first, so you know the person better!

They obviously changed their minds. You don't need to be told they don't want to, if they've blocked you, just kik how a no reply is a no thank you.
