Foreskin restoration

A clinic in the US has developed technology that will allow circumsised men to regrow their foreskin. So for all the cut guys out there, would you go for it? I had mine removed as a child and have always wondered what it would be like, maybe I will give it a go, I suppose you could always have it removed again if you didn't like it!

Nah couldn't be arsed with that. It's much easier to maintain as it is and it still feels damn good in someone's mouth. I can happily live with it.

I like them cut but I think that may be because the OH isn't so its just something a bit different

I can't see the merits in having surgery to make another foreskin, things could go badly wrong and you could end up with no cock to attach a foreskin to

Question... I have been with two guys who were "cut" and they were both pretty big. Is this a main reason for doing it?

Maybe a daft question but often wondered.

And I think its actually nicer.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Much easier to get someone to knit a little turtleneck for him. You could have a range of colours to suit your mood then.

The next trend could be Christmas themed willy turtlenecks. I can see mistletoe patterned ones being popular.

No it's mainly religious and cultural but there are some medical reasons. National rates vary widely from about 80% of males in the USA to 2% in Sweden, where non-medical circumcision is now illegal in children.

Whilst adults are free to do as they wish one has to question why it is still considered acceptable to chop parts of the genitals off little boys. If this was happening bits of young of women or animals there would rightly be uproar.

Lollol rotflmao

More surgerys end in death than loss of a cock.

Unless you take into account the town of Cockburn.

I'm cut but for medical reasons. My jacket just didn't fit right so chopped it off. A lot of people see it as more cleanly so decide to be done with it.

There's no arguement that justifies it - to me it's always seemed ridiculous and borderline mutilation.

If it's a religious thing? Wait til the kid is old enough to make up his own mind if he wants to follow that religion and therefore chop it off.

Likewise 'cultural' (whatever that's supposed to mean? ).

If there's a valid, medical reason then fine. Otherwise a decision is being made on behalf of someone incapable of making it themselves. There's no health benefits, no aesthetic benefits and basically no logical argument why it needs to be done.

As has been said - it's classed as mutilation in relation to girls so why are boys not given the same protection?

Medical reason for being cut..never thought about having foreskin as never had it..wouldn't subject myself to surgery. Like the suggestion of a little turtleneck in different colours

Foreskin restoration is commonplace in countries where baby boys mutilated at birth for no reason other than insurance companies like profit, grow up and realise what's been done to them.

There may be a surgical solution, but the most common one is stretching the existing skin over time with various techniques.

For those of you that believe a circumcised penis is cleaner, do you think that it's difficult to wash? Should girls have their labia removed for the same reason?

You mean, like the uproar about female genital mutilation?

What's a more interesting question is why surgery on intersex individuals isn't considered mutilation.

I'm not sure size has anything to do with it, I had mine done for medical reasons aged 2. Although it did grow into a rather fine beast!

Not specifically; the docking of dog's tails is now illegal in Scotland (partially elsewhere I believe) but it's ok to lop the end of a child's penis (who can't give informed consent).

As I understand it, in respect of intersex individuals, current advice is that surgeries done to make the genitals look “more normal” should not be performed until a child is mature enough to make an informed decision for herself or himself. Before the patient makes a decision, she or he should be introduced to patients who have and have not had the surgery.

general question if i may, does it make one less religious if one is a member (oops slip o the tongue there)of a religion where its meant to be done..

can't imagine anyone having lived a good and worthy life, whatever that is being barred from 'heaven' for not having ones foreskin lobbed off..

and is there a female equivalent based on religious protocol..?

Thanks for the few answers to my question.. I knew it was a religious thing too but im still convinced my boys were cut because of size.. Just makes for a nicer story "his cock is so big they had to unleash him" lol
