Ok, the way i always got over a broken relationship was. I would give myself three weeks, in those three weeks i would allow myself to be upset, whinge to anyone that would listen, stuff my face, listen to stupid soppy songs and generally feel sorry for myself. At the end of the three weeks i would pick myself up, dust myself down and continue with my life. This was only done for "proper" relationships and not for guys i had just been "seeing".

depends on what the together was like really. If it was kinda routine and safe just accept it as a new opportunity.

if you are deeply and exitingly attached to the broken away person you are gonna have to use some serious strategies to change the way you feel about that person.

Drink loads, smoke loads, think about the negatives in the person & that your better than they were, eventually feel better for yourself, more confident, happy with who you are & sooner or later (quite a while in my case) then you'll start to feel better. Good luck

hmmmm being honest, i we was close. but there hasn't been much trust for a while. through her fault not mine. i guess its the sudden change of events. from together to singleton again that is playing on the mind. i'm not turning to the bottle, i refuse tonight ha. hmmmmm there again

Give yourself all the time you need wether 1 week 2 or 5 months.

Dont look for anything else to replace it for a decent amount of time but get used to it being gone.

Learn to live your life as it is now and accept it.

Then when our ready chat with people and go from there.

Relationships are like shopping for clothes: you try a few on before you find one that fits perfectly.

Ok, that sounds a bit blase, but the analogy is still valid. It's never easy getting used to a person being around and then she's not there anymore but you have to remember one thing - if she was the one you'd still be together and the fact that you're not should tell you all you need to know. In the past, I Mr New... would tend to loose a tremendous amount of weight, change hairstyles and clothes

So far not too disimilar to anybody.. then go on a create buzz..

In my perspective it will making music on a variety of instruments..

Then ease yourself gently back into the dating game..

If you want sex then go to the swingers sites or clubs or do the one night stands to take the despunking out of the equation but take yourself out of the vanilla dating game..

Then when you are ready .. ie despunked and head sorted and all looking ship shape.. then you are ready for dating game again

im going to throw in a line that a very good friend gave me ...."if the train dont stop at your station ....its not your train ".....its helped me through a few failed relationships .... and remember life goes on .... i was married for 32 years my ex left me for one of my friends when i recovering from major surgery !!! i survived ...... and you will just get out there and have fun ...
