There are so many ads for cruising I wonder if I should give it a go.

Go for it! My brother drives cruise ships, so been lucky to go on from time to time. My parents cruise all the time, they love it!

We did one in Russia (St Petersburg to Moscow) last year for anniversary.

A few of my friends have cruised. One went on a Caribbean one and loved it although she put on half a stone with all the different buffet foods. Another went on a Christmas one around the med and she loved it too

That's the problem, food is all you can eat, so as there is lots of choice, people tend to endulge good and proper!

i've worked on refits of cruise ships abroad and to be honest i'd feel safer smearing myself all over with cat food and then going for a jog around longleat

Lickety you would love it, you'd be in your element. Why not see if you can get on as a lecturer, with your experience I think you would be a very interesting guest lecturer and they are always seeking them.

I can give you some addresses to apply.

That way you'll cruise for free.

I like to go cruising in my motor - sadly it's off the road at present pending some major overhaulling I plan on starting in the spring. I miss it. Not quite the same in the shopping trolley i'm currently tooling around in, but at least i'm still mobile

My mum only ever cruises now usually 3 hols a year lucky bugger. She doesn't like flying anymore. They are great, new place everyday. Can get sine really good deals. My mums boring though and sits n watches the cruise channel on sky!!!
