You were right first time- the current queen is Queen Elizabeth the Second of England but more properly should be Queen Elizabeth the First of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland as the Original Queen Elizabeth reigned before the Act of Union- Just as King James the First was James the Sixth of Scotland
