Why do I still get spots at 45. I have tried lots of things to prevent them. Sometimes I can go two weeks without but eventually they come back. Any suggestions welcome.

Go and see your GP

You may need some antibiotic cream

I've tried that hun. And vitamin tablets. The only thing that seems to help is the sunshine. Maybe I should move abroad lol

if the sun is the only thing that helps sounds like it could be Psoriasis. Is it flaky skin or definitely spots?

Go to your GP and ask them to put you on Oxytetracycline tablets, normally you have to take them for a minimum of a month, two or three times a day.

They treat severe acne, other type of antibiotics tend to be useless.

Hope that helps....

Titz Towers, North Notts

Or make a feature of them and look up the pimple popping thread and see which ladies close to you are into it

It is probably your diet. My niece had it bad but she went to see a dietitian. told her to cut out dairy. So she changed to soya milk and cheese. Made a massive difference.

It could be hormonal or stress. Are you stressed at all at the moment?

Everyone's different and what works for someone else may not work for you, but definitely try and drink more water. Also, depending on where your spots are you might want to think about changing your pillow cases often.

Try a facial wash with benzoyl peroxide in, but be careful because they can be harsh to your skin.

very good advise.you may find steam is excellent for cleaning the skin .worth a try if you use a gym with a steam room.also don't use a face cloth they harbour bacteria.also are you getting plenty of fibre in your diet? to the point ....are your bowels regular? someone had to ask.lol.

What i did at first was to shave it off with a body groomer with plain blade, thn use a razor to get it silky smooth. Then every time i shower i shave there too and never had any problems now
