Bit worried

I had a routine mammogram the other day and now ive been recalled for a more in depth examination.Im rather worried about this and the receptionist at the Clinic wasn't exactly helpful.Has anyone had a similar experience?

no but my mum has and it was just because they didn't get a proper reading, good luck

the receptionists arent medically qualified to be that helpful. They are trained to book the appointments to see the people who can be helpful.

I am sure that it is just a precaution and things will be fine but it is good that they have called you in for a second opinion. Whatever you do DONT google (i am a fine one to talk, i google everything lol)

My son is a fine 'googler' and a hypochondriac.The other day he was HIV Positive and had the plague!

sounds like me....in the last year i have been perimenopausal, had non alcoholic fatty liver disease, IBS, and detaching retinas!

Before I was diagnosed with OCD I googled everything! Every time I had a pain....

I had brain cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, leukaemia all in the spate of a couple of days!

Trouble I had is that I'd convince myself I'd have them and could visualise my funeral in my head, I was totally convinced I was dying.

Lucky I went to CBT therapy and was diagnosed!

I'm fine now, but I have to stay away from Google or I'll be back self diagnosing again!

sometimes they cant get a clear reading and when this happens they call you back.

I had to go in a psychiatric unit cause I thought I was dying of cancer, I had piles
