They're only little and just the pendants, not on a necklace or anything, but I shall be able to make pretty things with them They're lovely colours and all sparkly

They came with an order from a bead shop.

No...they cost an awful lot of sweat and lost Saturday morning lie ins but other than that completely free from sweatshop as a congratulations to me for being parkrunner of the month at my local parkrun!! Didn't even have to pay p&p

The absolutely best way to start your weekend. Wonderfully inclusive and great fun splashing around in the mud!!

Right gotcha, so it was a prize from park runner.

Keep up the running - it's the best form of exercise out there.

So park runner is a company then + you pay to join in?

No. Parkrun is a free weekly event held in hundreds of locations across the UK and thousands across the world. All timed so you can see your progress week on week. You get free milestone t-shirt as well. I am just 7 runs away from my 50 t-shirt.

You can donate if you wish online to support your local parkrun but there is no obligation to. The sponsors provide all the free stuff to encourage people to go.

Find your local one, register, print of your unique balcony then just turn up on Saturday morning ready to start at 9am.

Lots of them lol Adidas were involved, sweatshop obviously have a Google of parkrun. I assure you, I have done this 43 times so far and, apart from deciding to buy some more durable barcode keyword for about £4 which was my choice, I have not been asked to pay one penny towards it. The marshals are all volunteers. Most of them are runners of the parkrun that choose to skip a week in order to cheer others round.

I might volunteer to be a marshal. I can then say I'm involved in parkrun without having to run. Or even walk!

Ooh you should!! They have started doing milestone t-shirt for volunteers now as there are a lothario volunteer every week without running. There is one lady where I go that has run it only once but volunteered over 100 times.

It might also spur you on to running it as well when you see the variety of people that do it!

I'm really not built for running, (and I don't just mean in terms of being big - running doesn't suit me as exercise for several reasons). I wish I could because sometimes when I'm stressed I want to go and run all the stress out. Unfortunately I wouldn't have relieved much stress by the time I'm doubled over at the end of the drive!
