On here I'm mainly guessing people are referring to their ability to operate confidentially - as opposed to being 'distinct' "

Although singles may like to describe themselves a 'discrete'....

For the love of God, does it matter how's it's spelt. There tends to be only one context in which 'discreet' is used. If it's spelt wrong occasionally, who the fuck cares? I know what they're trying to say.......
