Hereabouts

Someone from here works in the restaurant I went to for lunch today. Someone Ive blocked. I was with my mate and her 2 year old daughter who threw a spoon on the floor. The guy then picked up the spoon and deliberately touched my leg as he got up. I felt physically sick. So to answer your question, no I wouldn't say hello.

No never in person. I wouldn't want to risk embarrassing or upsetting someone but I might message here to say Hi and mention I saw them.

I have seen several couples/singles from here out and about...Always kept it to myself.

Probably only if I recognised them but didn't remember where from.

I say this because I once bumped into the guy who ran the garage that did the builds for Pimp My Ride UK at a local post office. I recognised him, and actually thought I knew him, and started having a chat while we were waiting to be served. It was only when it dawned on me where I'd seen his face before that I apologised. He was cool about it. I saw him out and about a few times after that.

Nice guy.

But....

If I recognised someone from fab, and remembered where I'd seen their face before, then probably not.

If I was alone and I had spoken to them here or were on my friends list, I wouldnt have a problem with it, as long as they were discreet and didnt shout it to the rooftops.

That is disgusting. I'd have asked to have a quiet word with the manager and told him/her that the member of staff touched you inappropriately. Even if the guy had mentioned the site in his defence - and I seriously doubt it - it's not an excuse.

In fact, I've actually practically bumped into someone out in public that I've previously had a meet with, but I just carried on about my business as if they were any other stranger.

It's called discretion.

Have had a message from them since though.

No. I expect contact from strangers via the site. This is part of my private life. I don't expect it to be brought into my public life, even discreetly.

No I wouldn't.

I have had messages on here before saying stuff like 'I saw you walking through town today' though which is annoying enough. I'm not bloody famous I do have to go out to buy stuff.

I think having them on your friends list and chatted here is different.. It's then like a social meet

No I just shot him a dirty look and he walked away. My mates boyfriend also gave him a dirty look. I couldn't be bothered saying anything because I'd look like a fool when he claims it was an accident

Brighton - even Hove!

My fb and I have an agreement to ignore each other if we see each other in Brighton. Discretion is important to me.

In general never make any indication that you know anyone. There are exceptions, having met one lady on here who would be quite happy to chat discretely if I bumped into her. Again if she was with someone else you need to behave discretely again.

If, as the OP stated it was done with complete discretion and when totally alone then it shouldn't cause a problem. I have met two members from here, by chance, when out and about and yes....saying hi was not a problem. I also drink regularly with a few local members of fab as we usecthe same pub....but we don't mention fab when out in public.

Discretion is the key....otherwise no problem.
