Where things make sense, I'm not liking Samsung phones one bit! I'm going back to iphones, this nightmare will soon be over

Are they really that different? Most phones nowadays have pretty similar features.

Is it the Samsung or because is Android? If you're used to IOS I'd understand?

Yes roughly the same features, but having had the iPhone since the iPhone 3 had come out, I tried to kick the habit but can't do it, I was the first to knock apple but going to there competitor's I've realised apple are the best of the current crop

Yes, one thing I do like about the Samsung is the screen size, so I'm getting the 6+

The hardware is almost irrelevant, apart from screen size and memory. As with pcs/laptops, it's the operating system that's different. So it's a choice between IOS, Android, or Windoze 8.

I hate smart phones, they're just so bad at being a phone. I have a netbook for mobile interweb (I'll get a tablet one day, but prefer a proper keyboard).

With the older phones, I could operate them one handed, use the keyboard by touch, on my hands free kits in the cars, a single button press would activate voice recognition. I now have an app that does voice recognition, but first you have to do the swipe screen to wake the phone up, touch the app icon, touch the speak now button - so it's just not safe to do whilst driving (nor legal). Thus, if I want to make a call, I have to pull over and stop to initiate it, which negates having voice recognition anyway
