Would love to see him smoking on top of the bonfire.

If they ever got power, and thank god the majority of us voters are not that gullible he would succeed why Guy Fawkes and the IRA failed.

He would take down the country.

I'm not foolish enough to think UKIP are going to win the general election, but if the Tories win you can expect a EU in/out referendum in 2017. If the majority of people vote to stay in then so be it, but if the majority vote to leave the EU make no doubt about it we will be leaving.

I don't believe that Cameron will give a straight in/out vote - if it happens at all (and personally I think he'll delay as long as possible), it will be a fudged question.

If Liebour get in, the country will be broke and spiralling in to further debt again.

The cycle has remained fairly predictable throughout my lifetime thus far.

One thing I have noticed is, that whichever party the Sun backs, is the one that wins. So it would appear that Murdoch determines our election results by telling Sun readers who to vote for.

oops - should have been, "whom to vote for" - but you get my meaning.

As for Farage, I'm sure UKIP will get some seats, but they won't be a major force.

Whether he smokes or not is somewhat irrelevant I think, as it won't influence those disposed to vote UKIP one way or another.

It`s so hard to take the views of Kippers seriously when they are prepared to overlook that Farage is an adulterous, expenses-fiddling d*unk in charge of the country just so they can air their prejudices in public, whilst at the same time claiming they are not bigots.

Voting Green on decent party not funded by rich with their own goals.

Even had someone recently want to help fund their but party but as he was known for tax dodging, they said no unlike the 4 main parties who are pretty much controlled by huge corps doing whats best for their rich pockets and ignoring the rest of us. your stupid to believe any of those 4 parties will make any real change

think I maybe didn't put my question very clear.

what I am trying to say is this,

as in fab world, people will not meet smokers, so regardless of whether or not you like him or his policies, do you think someone who WOULD vote for him under normal circumstances, will change their mind just because he is a smoker

no point in trident at all. If someone is gonna bomb us, they will do so with or without us having trident, how many countries without any nukes are threatened, just leave those countries, stop trying to make it seem we are there to help when its just oil we're after. Like many other countries do, you leave them alone, they leave you alone. And if anyone decides to use nuclear, can pretty much guess a lot of red buttons will be pressed, you'd be lucky to survive and if you did, you wouldnt want to so trident is just a waste of money which could go to stuff like education and nhs instead of something we most likely will never use

ah, you're still thinking that being a nuclear power only helps with nuclear war. that's a small part. A much larger part is the help it gives your economy. "hello! we're Britain! it always rains, and we wear bowler hats! fancy doing business?! we're a super power because we have beefeaters and country pubs! Your money is safe with us!" It's not going to work.

Farage has many many faults but the worst by far is the fact he has the most dreadful flatulence but refuses to acknowledge it, even to the point of embarrassment, it's all that directors bitter he keeps drinking, and he drives a Lexus.

The “worm” may be changing how voters vote or is it we’d like to believe that people determine how to vote based on relevant solutions to political issues. Impressions based on candidate age and gender, as well as subconscious judgments of competency, approachability and attractiveness, are likely to have played a role in informing voters’ choices as long as democracy has been practiced.

economists call this the "post democratic age" because they know that it doesn't really matter which one of the major parties is in charge, the polices that matter won't change.

Vote UKIP you get Labour who will stay in the EU. Only the Tories propose a referendum and to ask the people if they want in or out. When I saw the header Farage smoking I had hoped he had self-combusted!

The Sun seem to be backing the tories, i'd rather have the tories in than Labour, mainly because of the in/out EU referendum Cameron has promised. I do agree that Cameron could possibly try and kick the referendum can down the road a bit, delay it or as you say fudge the question. A better scenario would be a Tory/UKIP coalition then UKIP could hold Camerons feet to the fire on the referendum issue, make sure he delivers what he promised. I don't think any party will win outright so it will have to be another coalition of one form or another.

We don't want to leave the EU as it will have a big effect on trade which will mean loss of jobs.

What we need is to do is get stronger, grow a set of balls and stand up for our rights.

Depends on which area you live really. Cannock chase constituency where i live had always been a Labour stronghold until the last election when Aiden Burley pulled off a shock win for the tories with a huge swing. However he is finished now after some scandal and won't be standing at the next election. So its tough to call here looks like in cannock it will be a straight fight between Labour and UKIP.

Farage has many many faults, just last week I found myself in the potters bar services when from one of the stalls came a loud cooooooor ahhhhhhhhh, next thing I know out pops Nige, pint of directors bitter in one hand Silk Cut in the other (yeah fucking silk cut the poove) with that slimly grin all over his face giving a nod over his shoulder and saying "I'd give it a while haha", and you know what, the filthy fucker didn't wash his hands
