this morning i logged on to find 80 messages about the would be meet listing i placed on my profile yesterday,

i think nothing of the messages as some didn't read my profile so you filter out as per most of us do and then you see people who are always about and begging you to meet them for a social meet, even though it means that if an attraction is there u might get some fun!!

question to you all on this dull friday,

how many people do you get begging to meet you ( same people usually) and how do u curb it?

( by this i mean people that u don't want to meet and wont give up)

Having said that i did say no to one guy and he messaged me back, there for some reason seemed to be an attraction, every couple of weeks he would send me a message not a begging message just a message to ask how i was anyway the long and short of it is i did meet him and my am i glad i did

I wouldn't do anything as i've invited them to mail me by putting up the meet in the first place.

If i don't want a particular person to mail, I would block them, otherwise, how are they supposed to know that they arent going to get a chance, i'm sure they may be thinking that perhaps this time...

begging?! I've heard the saying all men are dogs, just never seen it taken so literally.

If its constant from the same person when you've already said no and its getting on your nerves then I would block them

It makes me wonder how someone must feel to keep being rejected by the same person, thick skin or what?

I would'nt put myself in that position,if I was told no then you would'nt hear from me again

I have my own cyber stalker (his words not mine) but hes very polite and knows ill never meet him,but he mails to make sure im ok every so often and has done for a long time

If he bothered me too much id make sure he knew about it

I block them usually on my third decline.

If I've said no once then I don't respond again. If they still persist despite not getting any further responses from me then they're blocked.

sometimes I get exactly the same message from the person has already sent me a few times even though I have said no. Sometimes I just think they have forgotten they have already mailed you. Other times they are just thick skinned. I just block if i find it annoying

Do they actually beg to meet you or send you a message seeing if you want to meet?

Ignore first.

Block second.

There isn't a third.

"had begs todoay off people who iom not attracted to and wont be"

can i ask why you call them begs?

surely we're all here fo rthe same thing and if it's being openly offered, there's going to be takers?

i just find that term derogatory in this context.
