I've been trying to sell a car now for around 5 weeks.

Had it on two of the most popular sites, a well know auction site and also a well known car sales magazine/site, not sure if I can name them but you can probably guess which ones I'm on about.

Well on the auction site I've been offered less than half of what it's worth.

Now on the other site I've recieved two messages, you know how it is you get excited thinking "yes I might have a buyer here" and for it to only turn out to be some scam "we give you money for your car" sites, we'll guarantee to give you X amount of money got your car TODAY !

Only you have to pay them first to come and then pay you for your car !!

Who in their right mind would pay them ?

Wish they'd #### off !!!

Sorry for the rant, I just want to sell my car !

My friend once tried to sell a car online. He had plenty of people wanting him to travel 20-30 miles to theirs to show them the car, but he was always dubious that they'd then offer him a low amount for his car, on the grounds that he had travelled and would lose out returning home with it.

I work in the motor trade and hate all these changers and scammers!
