So my wife is going away for a night and taking kids. I love to play dress up on these occasions.

A few years ago my friends found this out and never said anything bad.

One of these friends is thinking of popping in once he finishes work on said evening for beer and game night.

Now the dilemma . Do i dress up and hope i have chance to change or dress up and let him see me like this.

I would say Change.

Idea can be very different from reality and while he may have accepted that you do dress he may not wish to be around you when you are.. He may not react in a way that's positive for either of you; or your friendship.if you really feel you'd like him to know more about this side of you I would think it best to discuss with him first.

I'd say change. You could discuss with him but it may impact your friendship as he may be uncomfortable
