Theory of Everything seems well touted but I've not seen it

Not sure about the rock giants that are Kasabian apparently

But Stephen Fry makes up for that.

Kasabian are brilliant, but not sure they were right for this gig!

I hope Paddington doesn't win. I'm still holding out on that one.

Grand Budapest Hotel, Boyhood, Theory of Everything and The Imitation Game were my favourites to see.

It's such a good field of films this year. I think The Imitation Game was a better film than The Theory of Everything but Benedict can't beat Eddie Redmayne for performance.

Theory has won though.

Supporting Actor to J K Simmons for Whiplash is well deserved. I was terrified of him throughout that film.

He's a good actor anyway but I just didn't think of any of his other characters watching this film.

Tom's a bit young for me but I've always liked Mark Strong.

All of these are films I have failed to see but were on my radar last year. I've got a lot to catch up on. Good to see Pride winning though.

That was part of the problem for me. I saw them listed at the London Film Festival but couldn't get tickets and then they were on short runs and I missed them at the cinema.

Gone girl was one if my favourites but I hadn't read the book and don't particularly want to tbh, it was a good film in it's own right.

I do need to watch the imitation game of the others.

As it's a thriller reading the book first would probably spoil the film. I haven't read the book or seen the film. My sister did both a regretted seeing the film.

It's a great film and so beautifully put together. The music complemented each scene, each moving on of age. It felt real.

I know he didn't do many films but sure they could have remembered him in movies like Drop Dead Fred and Churchill: The Hollywood Years.

I almost went because of Morgan Freeman but the trailer looked like every other "I've accessed all of my brain and now I can manipulate time/matter/the world" film so I didn't bother.
