Given that it works by being a mild irritant and causing tissue to swell, and the initial action of it is described as anything between a tingling and a painful burning, I would suggest avoiding oral sex after using it.

Oral after using desensitising gels and creams can lead to a numb tongue and lips so I would be cautious with this product too.

I doubt it would do any serious harm though - it would, I suspect, be similar to the plumping lip glosses that make your lips swell slightly to look fuller.
