Some text in all honestly that I receive I haven't a clue about, that said even some emails.

Maybe we need a FAB Dictionary?

I don't mind the odd LOL, LMAO type thing but when vowels disappear for no reason other than laziness then I begin to get annoyed.

What also gets my goat is where a word has been changed however still contains the same number of letters as it's meant to. So it's not even laziness that is prompting the change, it's really 'just because'.

i'm a lol loather..it either means it's really not funny at all or you have judged me to be too ignorant to be able to recognise humour unless it's surrounded by neon lights and a pointer with 'joke' written on it with an accompanying 3 second warning siren to let me know that a funny is imminent

Actually, you're right it's my pet hate. If I even read a profile that has abreviations in it I'm put off straight away. If you can't be bothered to write a correct profile and a correct email, how will you be bothered to keep me entertained all night long?

Hate text speak in any shape or form, other than when it is used VERY occasionally - a profile in text speak is a complete no-go for me.

took me about a year to realise that LOL was 'laugh out loud' and not 'lots of love'.... used to wonder why all the str8 guys were sending me love messages and not offering their cocks when I seen em.. teasers.

It winds me the fuck up! seriously, like you wouldn't believe. It's lazy, irritating and pretty much guaranteed to get any message you send us deleted.

The only place I would use LOL is if sending a message on this site, but only because there isn`t an emoticon facility. Other than that, if you messaged me in text speak, I would more than likely either ignore the message or delete it after sending a suitable reply! I don`t even use text speak when doing a text!
