I see vast variances of body type claims on here so was asking what is curvy ? I see those who say they are a size 12 are curvy and also see women who say they are a size 18-20 are curvy also, so what is your idea of curvy ?

I think it just means that person has curves as in nice bottom, maybe larger hips or boobs, not necessarily large x

I am a size 16. people who don't like that would describe me as fat.

people who like it would say that I am curvy.

you can see it on the pictures and in my profile I write that I am a size 16.

hahaha thought the same thing. When I signed up I saw athletic and average and said hmmm yea I'm average. Until I saw some the guys calling themselves athletic who were clearly overweight or dare I say fat ... then I changed.

Curvy , ample or large they all still get me to look at their pictures as everyone body perception of themselves or different ... The only ones I don't look at are slim and athletic as I like woman with a bit more bounce ... I'm a 14 /16 myself and think I've classed myself as curvy on here but some may disagree but who cares

I class myself as slim, though I do have curves in the right places.

I was tempted to change to average a few months ago until I saw what others classed as themselves average, so I changed it back to slim.

But hey, I have plenty of pics on my profile for others to make up their own minds

Size 14 on top, 12 on the bottom... Boobs, arse and a mum tum so I say curvy though I suppose ample would also be a fair description if someone thought it worked best. It's all subjective.I don't say slim or athletic since not, think they are perhaps less open to interpretation.

However, I think your state of mind with regard to your body may make a difference to how you choose to describe it- ask me on a bad body day and It might be a different answer!

Got average size boobs, but big bum and belly, definitely not voluptuous shaped, and tbh i think most people class curvy as voluptuous. But have got a waist as well, so almost curvy if it wasn't for the belly.

I've lost 4kg and my belly has got bigger somehow?

My pics don't really give a true representation of me though as I have lost a lot of weight and they are from various stages of my weight loss, I'm nowhere near as big as the pic of my back now, the most recent are the first two but I've even lost weight since then, but I have no recent pics and no one to take any so its a toss up between the closest of me I have or no pics at all

When I joined Fab I was a size 14 bottom and 12 top (see my net dress photos where I'm breathing in!!)

And I put slim cos, hey, if I can't even delude myself then there's no hope for me.

Had a twin pregnancy too, so my stomach really isn't the flattest.

I've bounced around weight-wise since then, lost some and put some back on.

I'm a size 12/14 bottom and a 10 on top now? I have no clue what I put myself as these days as I keep changing it!

I do have phases of working out regularly but not for a while as life has got hectic recently.

My ultimate aim is to call my body type athletic and mean it, at some point!

Curvy isn't a size either so I will continue to happily call myself that, because despite being numerous stone overweight I go in and out. Like I said, it just shows how subjective the descriptions are, because I totally disagree that ample is a shape not a size.

If your slimmer than the first couple of pics than I would class you as average or curved defo not ample ... And as for taking a recent pic of yourself it's not that hard if you can find a mirror lol
