I have been watching the Age Gap Series on channel 5 and I can only think that if two people genuinely love each other and they are happy...then isnt that something to celebrate? Yet society is so quick to judge!

I have friends who are 40 years age difference, yet so in love! So happy!

The sad part is that it isn't the two people directly involved who make a fuss, obviously, it's everyone else who thinks they know what's better for them.

Not 40 years between us but 23 and neither us or anyone we know could care less as I've said before the only time I even discuss it is answering threads on here, never think about it in the real world.

He was 72 on Sunday and I'm 49

I spent a lot of time in my last relationship defending the age gap. In the end the gap became too big
