"I wouldn't feel comfortable swinging whilst pregnant or playing with a pregnant woman. I think it should be a special time between the lady and her partner and the growing baby inside. " What she said x

"It is quite safe to have sex up to the birth, however afterwards you'll need to desist for six weeks as it can be dangerous then." Where did you get that piece of advice from? Call the Midwife? Lol. When both the woman and man are ready is fine. Sutures that haven't yet dissolved may make intercourse a bit painful and there is a very teeny risk of air being forced into the open blood vessels in the uterus by vigorous penetration causing an embolism, but this is so rare. Sex with multiple partners is a different matter, look after your baby, there's plenty of time for casual sex when they have grown up a bit.

"It is quite safe to have sex up to the birth, however afterwards you'll need to desist for six weeks as it can be dangerous then." This is wrong on 2 counts. It's it not safe to have sex up until the birth as any STI's you could catch could cause birth defects or miscarriage. And you don't have to wait 6 weeks, they tend to say that as it's 6 weeks after that you get your post birth check up but if you had a straightforward birth and no stitches and the like then as long as your happy you can do it when you like... I waited 9 days!

But it didn't do me any harm either. I guess you, yourself, know when you're ready and what you can handle. x

"There would only be one man other than my husband who I would swing with while pregnant and that would be the babies father.....JOKE! You do what you're comfortable with,I don't think I would have carried on through pregnancy but there have been a lot who do Good luck with the baby " My sentiments too
