"Do you want the exact notes, or just the key it's in, so you can play around the scale (which will probably lead you to the correct notes anyway ![]() Am not musical at all lol and a beginner, been teaching myself for the last year, to read music and play. Exact notes would be great. You're losing me if you mention keys lol ![]()

"Search for a midi version and then pop it into a sequencer, solo the sax track and you have the score. Or PM me (and tell me what key you want it in) and I'll have a go." Merci, I will try that and pm you if am struggling. Which am sure I will. I speak 4 languages, taught myself bits of Japanese... But with Music... It is a all different part of my brain. ![]()

"Do you want the exact notes, or just the key it's in, so you can play around the scale (which will probably lead you to the correct notes anyway ![]() ![]() The key is just (generally, there are exceptions) the note the song starts in, C major in the case of that song. The chances are the sax is then just playing a pentatonic scale (it's pop music, so unlikely to be anything more exotic than that). Find the notes for the C major pentatonic scale and play them in any old order you like and it should sound fine ![]()

Will look online for softwares too. Never thought about that. Being French and learning all the music terms in English is an additional challenge but great fun. Merci ![]()

Being French, living in Scotland and learning music in English...good luck with that ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gilad is a friend of mine...he's brilliant but bonkers! He's the most insane sax player I've ever heard...there isn't anyone in the world that can touch him, in my opinion. Go and see him live, as that's where he shines.

"It's an eye opener Max, technology there is about 15 years in advance of us. They were already on HDTV when I first visited in 1987, the taxi driver was able to open/ close and lock all the passenger doors from his seat using hydraulics. All taxis had live TV in the headlining. ![]() Sounds great! May be they have something to help me play like a real pro lol ![]()
