You're losing me if you mention keys lol "The key is just (generally, there are exceptions) the note the song starts in, C major in the case of that song. The chances are the sax is then just playing a pentatonic scale (it's pop music, so unlikely to be anything more exotic than that). Find the notes for the C major pentatonic scale and play them in any old order you like and it should sound fine
You can even throw some Blues scale notes in and it'll sound fine.
Then refine it to get the correct notes. Being able to slow it down but retain the key is always useful...tons of software to do that. | |||

Am 44 and realistic lol no teachers in Edinburgh so have to learn alone, with CDs and online! And am happy messing about with my fave tunes. But hoping to get to some more complex jazz tunes in a bit | |||

Lol no, just happy listening to him and some great others
Am 44 and realistic lol no teachers in Edinburgh so have to learn alone, with CDs and online! And am happy messing about with my fave tunes. But hoping to get to some more complex jazz tunes in a bit "Gilad is a friend of mine...he's brilliant but bonkers! He's the most insane sax player I've ever heard...there isn't anyone in the world that can touch him, in my opinion. Go and see him live, as that's where he shines. | |||

They were already on HDTV when I first visited in 1987, the taxi driver was able to open/ close and lock all the passenger doors from his seat using hydraulics. All taxis had live TV in the headlining. "Sounds great! May be they have something to help me play like a real pro lol | |||
