Bradford

With keyboards using auto correct and selling themselves as really accurate, it's nearly impossible to write text speak on them these days.

I'm I using a keyboard called Fleksy and as long as I am in the right area, it writes the whole word for me.

How will people judge someone if their phone is making them seem intelligent?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'm worried about autocorrect. From midnight I will be spending 24 hours writing without capitals or any punctuation.

Many still seem to use text speak though.

I'm sure some will re-educate their autocorrect to speak text speak by sheer persistence.

Sometimes my autocorrect changes correctly spelt words to words that are spelt wrongly or aren't even actual words.

I've certainly not added those words to autocorrect so how they are there is a mystery.

What annoys me is when autocorrect changes one correct word for a totally different word. Why?!

A lot of text speak isn't really text speak, it's a deliberate way of writing that half the time isn't even much shorter than just typing the full word.

Just updated my iPhone and the way autocorrect works now is doing my head in, so it's been switched off completely!

It's a keyboard that holds the world record for the fasting typing.

My current 'phone was like that when it was new. I stuck with it and it's bearable now but it still has its moments. The way the system is designed is not at all user friendly.

I hope so, I've never liked it or used it : not even in texts.

The 'phone can only correct the spelling. It can't make sure the correct word is used, or in the right way. It can't correct the grammar or the punctuation. It can't do a thing about what the words are being used to attempt to convey.

I think we'll all be able to judge just fine

Whereas I am the Marmite of keyboard users.

My predicative text appeals to work the manoritive of the thyme with only a rational amount of errors.

Hereabouts

On I'm writing this using SwiftKey instead is the normal keyboards or the others sideways. I'm not correcting any mistakes in this in Jay going to leave it how our thinks or should be. As you can term it doesn't like words like 'or' 'on ''I'm' 'in ''it' etc and yard the wrong words. I think it's body awful and I won't be using is again.

If the word Nazis Had any sense they wouldn't ask people not to speak in text talk.

All that's happening is people they want to avoid are writing 'correctly' and may get a meet.

If they were really clever they'd let people hang themselves and it would be easy to distinguish the people they want to chat too.

My advice is let them ask for non-text chat an get their time wasted

Gives me a laugh to see what the programmers of the auto correct have put in there.

they obviously don't like the word 'fuck' because it constantly changes to the unknown word 'guck'.
