"just kidding... only top 4... no playoffs anymore??? when did that happen? " Just the last week. They've also agreed to split the leagues towards the end of the season. The top 8 then play 7 more matches. The bottom 4 join the top 4 from the next league down, play 7 more matches and the resulting top 4 join Super League the year after. A convoluted form of promotion/relegation. | |||

"Isn't it good that these minority provincial sports continue to survive. " And grow organically, the regional coverage within the minor leagues is impressive. True sport at grass roots level. Or as our local team often demonstrate, localised thuggery. Some of it on the pitch even. It can be rough. | |||
