Hey all just a thought I had (dangerous I know)

But all that time ago creating our first fab profile, what was your expectations from the site and how did you find they fared. The first time we were here we didn't really know what we were looking for and well even though it was fun and met some great people it seemed something wasn't right. A little niggle perhaps.

This time though

we know where both our boundaries are and what we both like so having great fun. We haven't met anybody new for while because we can message people who we meet thanks to fab.

One couple have become good friends and our single guy friend well, Only a text away

Right back on track lol. We never thought we'd meet such amazing people though a site. We didn't expect much. so I think that's why we've gotten such good experiences maybe because we didn't expect much. And communicating of course

My silly comments don't probably always fit in alot in the forums but most of you actually crack me up in a great way.

I've gone of topic and now I can't remember what I was waffling about haha....

oh yeah, how have you found the expectations to the realities of swinging (not just fab)

I came on here expecting nothing really, Just a laugh and a bit of banter. Probably upset a few with silly posts and replies but hope I haven't offended anyone, I never set out to.

Did it live up to my expectations? Yes......Expected nothing and got nothing

The strangest thing I've found is that I get along with people who I never thought I would and don't get along with people I normally would.

Although I am relatively new I did have a friend who on here from the age of 17. She told me what to expect basically and I think I have learnt vicariously form what she told me to expect.

I had really low expectations and it's been the complete opposite. I didn't think I'd find people I was truly attracted to, let alone hang out with and spend time with. It seems to be getting better with time for me.

Not what i expected at all. Didn't even know what swinging is until i joined here, only joined up to talk to one guy who wanted to fuck me, not met him yet but have met loads of others.

It's both better and worse than i expected.

Love the forums, not many sites have those. There's loads of guys round here, and they're nicer than the guys i've met on other sites, and nowhere near as needy and don't pester me. Love the block button.

On the down side, i'm pretty sure many of the guys i'm fucking are attached and if they are then this goes against my morals and personal beliefs, but idk for sure so gonna have to take them on their word for it.

my expectations was nothing, anything that happens was a bonus

the reality was had loads of fun and lots of amazing sex with people i connected with and met some great friends who turned out to be friends rl too!

Oh my first day of swinging site(not this one) I got chatting to somebody who ended out to be a very good friend over the years..

He said to me.. 'Never expect, that way you cant get disappointed and anything more that comes from it, is a bonus'. And my god is that true.

My personal opinion is that to many people do expect and then when things dont turn out the way they want, they get all upset.

I couldn't agree more, obviously aon a build up to a meet its all good to have your mind running away with you but yeah no expectation is no dissapoitment

As my mum died earlier in January my family have been discussing what she used to do. One story relevant to this post was she used to hitchhick. U can't do that now days

Safety is at the back of every bodies mind most of the time.

U know ppl laugh at men recording their exploits with woman, but I think in this day and age it is a good thing. Evidence.

This isn't the first , or even second, site we have been on so we more or less knew how it works.

We've had nothing but positive experiences from here and in swinging in general. We don't really need fab for meets anymore but we stay as we enjoy it.

No grumbles here.

I think I am past the age or unreasonable expectations and have used the internet long enough to know reality. However I had expectations of people being politer than they have turned out to be its as though manners evaporate when logging in.

There is a an entire science to it (the internet) and the scientific name is perceived socio-anominity. because they are talking to a screen people are generally more frank because they have a perceived air of anonymity.

I didn't exactly know what to expect as online sits are mixed but did expect people to be friendly based on my swinging involvement.

I've been here for a few years and it's been much better than I'd have guessed.

I didn't plan for the amount of exasperation I've felt sometimes when my expectations differ from hordes of people who'd message me - usually concerning their expected response and meet times and the volume of mail that can flood in.

I was initially disappointed with a bit of the anti bi/gay/trans opinion that got posted but things have improved over the last couple of years, which is refreshing.

I didn't plan that fab would be a near essential part of my life, due to the forums.

Frankly it is totally different from what I expected to be.

I was so dellusional about this site, first I honestly thought it would be easy to get laid then I learnt that reality and appearance are totally opposite to each other.

It is far much better from what I expected...

When I joined 4 years ago I didn't really know what to expect as it was my first time on such a site.

In reality it was knee deep wall to wall clunge. As you can imagine I totally shit my shreddies and tried to escape. Unfortunately, I slipped on a proper hairy one, went down and got drowned in a sea of sweaty beaver.

I've been stuck here ever since.
