wigan

is anything done about.. fakes ..when u report it on hear ??? as we went to meet a so called couple when we got there the was just a single bloke there what can be done about it on hear ?????

If you responded to a couples profile and it turned out to be a single guy, all you can do is report the profile.

Go to his profile. Hit the report button. Say what you just said in the box n send it to admin.

They will be SHOCKED that someone had to report someone else but they will not rest until that profile is squashed , burned and deleted for ever!

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

we have a problem at the moment with verifications. We have met a lovely lady several times but she has only been on the site a few days. Have tried 3 times now to give her a verification but her home page wont let her access verifications and she can't post it (or them, she might have others, she just doesn't know) any ideas for her please forumites?

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved

If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves.

I have friends who all use the same make of wireless router... which changes your IP addy, so everyone in the country using this make of router has the same IP addy.

They had trouble verifying eachother.

does anyone think it strange a single guy proporting to be a couple arranged to meet a couple and he turned UP....... but also the couple he turned up to see had a male half who is 6ft5!

He might have been fake but he must have had some balls.

I agree with Savanna he was brave to go through with actually meeting them..

I cant believe the OP didnt chat fem/fem on the phone before setting off to meet them/him and i would love to know what his excuse was for his partner not being there lol

best way is a phone call just to establish who is really there, or a wave and hello on cam with both. not for sex, just to establish who you are really dealing with. if they refuse both it is usually a fake.

If the router is changing their IP address then they have a very bad virus.

That said, a friend of mine on another site spent two weeks "talking" to a "stunning" woman. They arranged to meet...and a bloke turned up!!!!

The bloke honestly thought they could go for a drink and talk!!!

More likely that the ISP is changing the IP address on a regular basis.

sure is,what gets me is wtf can you say to a cpl like that ,what excuse can you use, did he just admit he was single or use a lame ecuse like my wifes bad ,she had to work ect.

I recently reported a couple profile after the guy actually told me that him and his wife were no longer together and he was using his wifes pics to get meets with single women and couples in here and some of the lies he told me were amazing from him being a temp bar manager in the area to being a doctor and as such couldnt put any pics of himself on the site for fear of being outed as a swinger he went on to tell me his wife had left him to run off with her f/b but could he still meet anyway ermmmm nope

Never mind at least in the long run he did tell the truth apparently and the couple profile that he had set up was deleted or removed so the system for reporting fakes works but there will always be others that slip through the net to try their luck just getting harder to spot some nowadays lol xxx Lois xxx
